Lots of girl power in the heart of the Black Forest was on the program for this winter’s fourth Girls Shred Session. About forty girls from all over Germany and Switzerland gathered at the badenova Snowpark Feldberg and worked with the coaches on their progression level.

Saturday morning, ten o’ clock – the Feldberg is still covered in fog. Still, forty motivated girls gathered at the badenova Snowpark Feldberg to do what they love – shred. After a warm-up round, the girls started into the shred session: The four coaches for the snowboarders guaranteed the progress of every rider – no matter the level.

Sunshine, progression and BBQ

All the girls were super stoked about shredding and the first part of the session was followed by a BBQ lunch where the shredqueens could recharge their batteries. After the break the shred session continued in bright sunshine: Boxes, rails, kicker and a little hike session in between! “I shredded a rail for the first time ever – thanks to our coaches!”, Vanessa Exner from Freiburg said.

Shred skills, goodies and edits

At the end of the day, the girls could not only take home memories and new-formed friendships, but also goodies from NIKITA, Planet Sports, badenova, Golden Ride and QParks. “It’s great that this session goes down here, I’m definitely gonna be here next year!”, Vanessa summarized. The local coaches Annika Bartmann and Leonie Kleiner were stoked on the progression of the riders: “The girls were really motivated, learned a lot – couldn’t be better, right?”, Annika said. Leonie agreed: “A really awesome session, it was a lot of fun!”
