The Quiksilver Chromatophobia takes place in La Plagne (France) on 3rd April. The snowboard contest will run in the Super Pipe shredded by 16 of the best rider of the world and the qualifiers of the King Of Snow.

Gary Zebrowski (Fra), Winner of the Fis world cup step in Valmalenco (Ita) Aluan Ricciardi (Fra), French Snowboard Team Arthur Longo (Fra), Mathieu Crépel Invitational 2008 winner Johann Baisamy (Fra), French Snowboard Team Markku Koski (Fin), Big Air 2009 World Champion Fredrik Austbo (Nor), Nanshan Open 2009 winner Christian Haller (Swi), Kime Rune Hansen (Nor), Sergio Berger (Swi), Jean Jacques Roux (Fra), Micha Ligocki (Pol) In addition, qualifiers of the king of snow, Beno Postert (Aus), Saku Tiilikainen (Fin), Martin Kalliola (Fin), Niko Lansio (Fin), will compete with the best riders of the world.
Contest Format Quiksilver Chromatophobia contest format invites each riders to choose his favourite trick, inspired from Mathieu Crepel Invitational 2008.
- First Round (16 riders) : Head judge will draw 2 tricks at random from the 16 in the common box. Each rider will have to include the first trick into his first run, then the second trick into his second run.
Best trick counts and 8 riders go through the final.
- Final : "Cash" Session (8 riders) Judges will use cash instead of classic points. Riders can earn between 0 and 300€ a run. Each rider gets 5 runs and ranking will be done depending on the total cash accumulated.
