The ‘Protest To Get There Fund’

The pull of fresh powder and big waves is strong. But the obstacles in our lives are often stronger.

Works. School. Cancelled flights. Bad sitcoms.

Protest exist to level the playing field. To help riders overcome their obstacles. And get on their boards. Where they belong.

We created The Protest To Get There Fund to help you ride more. Our goal is to help as many people as possible to get unstuck from their obstacles and back to living their dreams.

It’s easy.

First: Tell us about your biggest and most annoying obstacle that’s standing between you and your board.

Next: Tell us your idea for overcoming this obstacle and making it back to where you belong. Do this by submitting a video or photo along with a short written description explaining your idea.

Last: If we dig your idea, we’ll do whatever it takes to help you do it. ‘Whatever it takes’ can be anything from helping you build the world’s longest grind to giving you some cold hard cash to buy a plane ticket to your dream spot.

Remember: We’re looking for the most original, creative and completely bizarre ideas for snow, surf and wake.

The first winner will be announced in January 2010. New winners will be announced each following month until the end of time.

Stay tuned and see you out there.

The fine print: Keep in mind that you compete at your own risk. Protest cannot be held responsible for any damages, injuries, losses or other harm that you may endure on your quest to ride more. We can, however, be held completely responsible for the amazing time you’re going to have on your board.
