Last days’ fresh snowfall cannot fool us – the Allgäu was not blessed with masses of blow. Still the funpark is good condition and leaves nothing to be desired. Since “The 5ive Barbecue” there is a totally crazy new obstacle, a ” flat-down-flat double kinked rail” where the riders can show their skills.
The O´Neill Alspitzpark is not only a mecca for the local freestyle troop who appreciate the innovative setup which is rideable in many ways – it is also attractive for the concept of the “Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jams”. So mark Saturday 21st February in your calendar – the german stop in Nesselwang awaits you!!
All interested snowboarders are invited by Volcom, in coorporation with 5ive Skateshops, to hit some rails. This contest is a non-profit event where the attending kids get drinks & food and entry for free. But there´s even more to it than that: Volcom and other partnering brands will give out some souvenirs for every rider. So nobody will leave this contest emptyhanded and we´re looking forward to a relaxed railcompetition! Yeah “Let the kids ride free”
The registration will take place at the contest day at the park from 10.00am – be there on time, the starting spots are limited!! The contest is working as a Jam Session with three different groups: under 16, over 16 and girls. Additionally the goggle company Electric will award “the gooyest move of the day”, juding everyone without group division. The group winners get invited to the euro-final in Les Diablerets and get the chance to qualify for the world final in Mammoth.
As shredding the whole day isn’t everything, the team from O´Neill Alpspitzpark of course provides for some hard partying as well! This time it’s in the Club Rehbock in Nesselwang, beginning at 09.00 pm, and the hot Alpspitzbeatz gonna set the crowd on fire. If you need some more information about the party just visit www.5ive.de
If you want to prepare for the contest, you should all know that the O´Neill Alpspitzpark has open not only in the morning but also in the evening from 06.00 pm till 10.00 pm. More info you find at www.oneill-alpspitzpark.de
