Park & Ride in Landgraaf/Netherland on the 21st of April 2007
After a short break, the time has arrived for the 2nd Park & Ride event. This time it is going to be held in the largest indoor snow dome in the world in Landgraaf, Netherlands.
The contest is all about amateurs. Just like last time, this event provides the opportunity for all those who aren’t being sponsored or on the professional circuit to show their skills. The competition is open both skiers and snowboarders.
A real treat awaits those not familiar with the impressive slopes in Landgraaf. The park has its own lift to get the contestants to the start without delay. It all kicks off at lunchtime so there will be plenty of time for a morning warm-up.
This snow park will challenge your jumps, rails and boxes skills. The rookies looking to take part can look forward to a slopestyle jam session on Landgraaf’s slopes.
The parks chill-out area, at the foot of the slope, awaits those who are in need of a sit down or refreshment.
Spectators get in free so you can bring your whole crew to watch from the slope’s sides and the chill out area.
DJ Trio Cremeflash will on the decks, hooking up some sweet beats on the day of the contest. As if all this wasn’t enough, the event will be finished off with a kicking after party; DJ Trio Cremeflash will be back on the decks to conclude things nicely and make sure the winners get their comeuppance.
