O’Neill Europe is proud to announce the signing of French freestyle snowboarder Julien “L’arrogs” Haricot to its European team of riders.
As one of the most talented and charismatic personalities on the European snowboarding scene, the arrival of L’arrogs in the team undoubtedly represents an important addition to what is already one of the most formidable teams of riders in Europe. Armed with his flawless riding style, huge bag of tricks and trademark sense of humor, L’arrogs is amped to join O’Neill, and said:
“I’m super happy to sign for O’Neill. They’ve been playing a big part in the snowboard industry for as long as I can remember. They’ve got a sick team of riders, and they organize some of the best events of the season. Plus I now get to call my buddies Maxime and Antoine Delayen my teammates – yeah!”
During the course of the last few years, the goofy-footed 27-year-old has become one of the most exposed French riders in the European snowboard media, delighting readers and viewers with his skills on the mountain and his high jinx adventures off the snow.
Having grown up honing his tricks and silky smooth style in the French ski resorts of L’Alpes d’Huez and Les Arcs, it wasn’t long before L’arrogs and his infamous crew of Psykopit friends started making a name for themselves across the European continent. The release of four consecutive snowboarding movies boasting the inimitable Psykopit signature, meanwhile, cemented his reputation at the pinnacle of European snowboarding.
Franck Corbery, Team Manager O’Neill Europe, is stoked to see such a big character joining the ranks, and said:
“From the moment he first got noticed, L’arrogs has always been one of the biggest characters and riders on the European scene, and particularly in France. We’re stoked to get him onboard so he can bring a new riding perspective to the O’Neill team, and show the rest of the team a thing or two about partying… On a more serious note, he’s a great addition and by rocking our new winter collection, I’m confident he’ll give us the extra push we’ve been looking for in the south European market. And let’s face it – we were in need of a tight pant rider…”
