Last Wednesday we had the pleasure of being courteously invited to a press only exclusive Oakley presentation, where we convinced, once again, that Oakley goggles and technology is yet to meet its match on planet earth. From detailed product descriptions to video showing how Oakley dominates over anything the competition has to throw at them. I guess I was convinced. But, what was more convincing than the funky high tech video feeds, were the select pro riders being interviewed. They came in the form of three jaw dropping ladies bearing the names Gretchen Bleiler, Anne-Flore Marxer and the sweet sweet Silvia Mittermüller ( who i was too shy to talk to...again) . Sorry I almost forgot; Marco Smolla was also there answering questions. He might not be as hot as the girls, but therefor his riding is, like the goggles, not from this world. I had the privilege to hang out and chat with Ms. Olympic Silver Bleiler who is probably the hottest and best snowboarding girl that I will ever meet. EVER! She told me that her and the girls were going up to the Hintertux glacier, where a womens camp was going down, to share some of their knowledge with other ladies on shred. A little report on that will be coming soon.
P.S. Gretchen! Thanks for the slice of pizza and the beer! You rock!
Hugs and Kisses Marko
