New Shred Gear on Show at ISPO 2009.

Onboard are on the ground at the industry jazzfest in Munich.

So, another year, another ISPO: where brands from far and wide showcase next winter’s wares for the first time on European shores. Parties abound and zombie-like industry insiders can be seen staggering around the cavernous dry-aired halls catching up on the chat, doing business and blagging beers.

So, rather than waffle on, let’s show you some of the highlights we saw from cruising round angling for free booze. Forum, to Flow, Skullcandy to Salomon, we got through a few stands already, so let the hyper-über-dopeatron ISPO day 1 Photo Essay commence.

Gerome ‘Coin Coin’ Mathieu’s new APO pro model.

APO Expresso binding for 09/10

Isis and another girls’ board from the APO family.

Arthur Longo’s new pro model and the rockered Amanite.

APO Selekta, MTD and the Longo pro again.

Closer look at the Selekta. Like a lot of boards this year, it features reverse camber aka rocker aka banana aka wrongbend.

Artec’s Gabe Taylor gets an eyeful from the local nudist.

The Artec range is looking dope.

Bonfire are branching into boots. Salomon on the inside, Bonfire style outside.

Antti Autti’s Flow pro model boom box.

And here’s his new, lighter binding.

Flow’s Jens stoked with the new Flow baseplate and pimped colours.

M9. Flow really stepped up the aesthetic this year.

Two rockered Flow boards – check the badass Maiden graphic on the right.

Flows for Russians – €1000 a pop or thereabouts.

Forum Team Manager Jon Weaver with two new Forums – the Scallywag on the right is a banger!

And yes, the Scallywag also has reverse camber.

Forum’s entry into the World’s Best Ever Board Graphic contest. A strong contender.

And there’s even matching Bob Ross boots and bindings. Epic.

We thought ‘There’s only one F-in Forum…’ And Brit chicks are HOT!

Forum’s fairground stand. Three balls in a hole gets you a tee…

Furlan’s interesting-looking freestyle powder boards – the effective edge of a 156 on a 176, bit of rocker and a twin pointy shape: we wanna give one a razz!

Grenade’s best-selling CC395 now comes with a longer cuff. Nice.

More kick-ass Grenade hand shoes.

The Grenade outerwear has stepped up again. Danny Kass’ jacket is a good example of the solid steeze.

And a tasty camo/graf number.

Credit crunch? Doom and gloom? Ride brought a frickin fairground ride for their stand!

Rome’s new 390 binders.

Rockered out ‘1985’s from the Rome boys – the one on the left is the killer MOD, but with reverse camber. Sweet.

The Addictive collection is a limited edition series of gear designed in collaboration with artist, interns and whoever’s got a killer creative idea.

As you can see on these boards – Anthem’s, but with limited graphics. Skiers, My Little Ponies, and weird darkness. What more could you want?!

Rome’s entry into the Best Base Graphic Ever contest.

Salomon Arcade two strappers.

Nice-looking Salomons.

The Original.

Salomon Pledge boot.

Santa Cruz outerwear is looking spanky.

And they’re taking it back to the old school with all the historic stickers adorning their sticks. Cherry’s backing it.

More SC threads.

Skullcandy is all about colour stories for next season.

And they’ve done some colabs with Dragon, shown here, VZ, and even Snoop Dogg!

Skullcandy also make the biggest ear cans we’ve ever seen.

The Volcom girls’ jacket that you’ll see Cheryl Mass tearing it up in this winter.

And this one has a stowaway steal Ninja hood for keeping ladies’ boats sweet.

And a gentleman’s jacket from Volcom. All about the paint spatter…

OK, that’s it for now. More later/tomorrow including Jeremy Jones the freeride legend giving us an exclusive bit of chitter-chatter.

And, lo, there is more HERE, too.
