Kelly Clark or Jamie Anderson – Who’ll Win the Women’s TTR? Though Peetu Piiroinen’s already wrapped up the guy’s tour, winning his third TTR World Tour crown in as many years, it’s all to play for in the women’s division. And it comes down to Kelly Clark and Jamie Anderson and how they fare at the legendary 6Star US Open that’s going down in Stratton, Vermont this week. Check these two girls’ highlights so far…

The longest running event in the history of snowboarding, the Burton US Open, is the final 6Star event on the Swatch TTR Tour and is getting prepped to crown both the male and female 2010/11 Swatch TTR World Tour Champions. Rocking Stratton, Vermong from March 7th to 13th, 2011 the US Open is one of the biggest events on the calendar and will feature seven days of slopestyle and halfpipe action. Riders will compete for a stake in the $200,000 USD prize purse and a maximum of 1000 TTR World Ranking points.

With the TTR run-in dominated by the women’s showdown, the TTR’s media arm take a look at Jamie Anderson (who has proven her solid riding skills throughout the season and now sits in the TTR tour lead going into the Burton US Open) and Fellow American, Kelly Clark, who currently is in World No. 11. Kelly has claimed first place finishes from all the TTR halfpipe events she has attended this year. She has only have secured five out of the seven required TTR results but still has the opportunity to overtake Jamie if she finishes well in both halfpipe and slopestyle at the US Open.

You want our prediction? Kelly to win the pipe but not place high enough in the slopestyle to edge out Jamie. But it will be close.

The 6Star Burton US Open is one event not to miss, so make sure to tune into the live webcast from March 9th to 12th for all the action from semi-finals and finals.
