Join Head Snowboards’ Futureheads Team Head At Junior Jam in Westendorf

FutureHead Mona Danuser giving it some. Grommits are gooood!

Head Snowboards have been quietly assembling a squad of talented grommits, grouped together in their FutureHeads program, and the whole gang will be hitting Westendorf’s Boarders Playground Junior Jam next week – February 17. The best thing is, if you’re under 16 you can also take part!

The future of snowboarding is so important, and most of that involves getting the next generation as hyped on sliding sideways as the ones that have preceded them. It’s the reason why we’re always so stoked when snowboard brands get involved with making quality snowboard product for kids, pulling together grom teams and making sure there are events out there catering for the young rippers.

Head Snowboards have been ticking all those boxes, and their FutureHeads team is stacked with young rippers from across Europe: Mona Danuser from Switzerland, Finland’s Nooa Kervinen and Roope Patronen, and German groms Philippa Steeg and Till Strohmeyer. All these guys will be, ahem, heading to the 7th Boarders Playground JUNIOR JAM – a Mini-Slopestyle Contest for young snowboarders – and it’s open for all riders under 16 to get busy on the setup crafted specifically for younger riders to give the best account of themselves.

The motto is to join in and have fun, and there will be a bunch of dope prizes to be won from the event’s sponsors. All participants will be entered into a raffle to win swag, so that everyone has the chance to walk away with something. The Junior Jam has, over the past few years, established itself as a popular mini slopestyle contest and brings young European talents to Westendorf every year, and it certainly seems to be bearing fruit. Props yo!
