JAMIE LYNN DOES SOME "CHARITY" WHILE IN NORWAY!

Volcom Snow team rider, legend and lifer Jamie Lynn needs no further introduction, nor does his art. So when we learned that Jamie would be in Oslo during the 2009 Arctic Challenge, we figured it wouldn't hurt hitting him up for a little retail love... Ever since some of the team riders and people behind the Session shop chain (A Norwegian core shop chain with 16 outlets and key Volcom account) came to stay at Jamie's house during a skate tour a few years back, during which they emptied his beer supply, clogged his toilet and jammed his favorite rifle, Jamie has maintained a close friendship with these vikings. So when Jamie heard that it was Session that was kindly requesting a piece of his artwork to be permanently installed in one of their shops, he was all for it and went way beyond the initial "Take a hung-over dump on a piece of plywood-idea" In between death metal gigs, record store visits, The Arctic Challenge and pony-spotting, he found time to create this timeless piece. Actually, the painting you see here is not only a one-off, but the first ever European shop mural Jamie has done... It shouldn’t be long before this newly erected shrine will attract snowboard and art pilgrims from all corners of the snow-world...
