If you like your snowboard experience to be more on the adventurous side, have a look at what these guys offer. And if you already run tours, they’re looking for companies to partner with so if that’s something that might scratch both backs, hit them up!
Fired off some questions to CEO Kalle Viira for the lowdown…
Briefly, can you explain the idea behind your business?
The idea behind faralong.com was creating a platform where it’s possible to book adventure travel tours directly and immediately, this has actually not existed so far; waiting for confirmation emails and diffuse pricing were always part of looking to book guided adventure tours.
How can snowboarders specifically benefit?
Snowboarders can benefit from booking great trips to mountain destinations, to find secluded spots and untouched snow – if they’re willing to hike.
We heard you’re looking to partner up with companies offering existing adventure travel snowboard trips. What kind of thing are you after in this regard?
We are also looking to find partners, that would like to join our platform and offer their guided snowboard tours through us, preferably to remote destinations such as the Andes, Himalaya, Iran, you name it; anywhere we haven’t thought of going snowboarding much yet. These can be companies as well as independent licensed guides offering completely serviced trips.
What’s in it for them, and what do they need to do if they want to get involved?
What’s in it for them, is that they have a direct platform to offer their products and services, at a small provision, very low compared to travel agencies; it works similar to AirBnB, where the consumer and provider are in direct contact through our platform. If anyone is interested in becoming a partner, they can contact us at email@example.com.
Anything else that snowboarders should know about what you offer?
We are passionate about any boardsport ourselves and would like to offer the world more great adventures in that area too.
