Last weekend the first elooa BACKCOUNTRY FREESTYLE CAMP presented by DAKINE and NITRO SNOWBOARDS took place on Stubai Glacier. The 14 participants had the opportunity to spent unforgettable days with snowboard pro Elias Elhardt and the elooa guides to be ready for the upcoming Freeride Season.

Elias Elhardt gets all Method Man in the BC.

During the day we had perfect weather conditions with bright sunshine. The snow conditions were not that perfect, but it was a super successful weekend with many lines and turns in fresh powder as well as a final kicker session. All participants received an access into the world of backcountry snowboarding and important knowledge.

Transceiver training.

Together with the experienced pro rider Elias, lines were analyzed and taught how to pick the right lines and how to choose jumps in the backcountry. The weekend was also accompanied by two certified mountain guides who taught avalanche safety and how to rescue your buddy in emergency situations. That's why the elooa BACKCOUNTRY FREESTYLE CAMP was a great basis for getting into backcountry snowboarding and to be in perfect shape for the upcoming season.

Screw it. Another Elias Method shot for ya.

The camp was a lot of fun and we are already looking forward to the next elooa BACKCOUNTRY FREESTYLE CAMP with Markus Keller in Montafon from April 1st until 3rd 2016. elooa say 'Thank You' to all sponsors, participants, mountain guides and of course Elias Elhardt for the great experience and a successful premiere at the Stubai Glacier.
