Lake Forest, California etnies is proud to remain a skateboarder-owned company existing to make products for skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers, as well as moto x and BMX riders. Being owned by a skateboarder means etnies doesn’t answer to anyone outside, and the brand can react to skateboarders’ product needs quickly! In order to continue to push etnies’ forward, the brand named Mike Regan to the newly created position of etnies brand director, and both promoted and added additional brand team members.

"Mike Regan brings years of global brand experience, which has contributed to his solid eye for trends and style," said Pierre André Senizergues, owner and CEO of etnies. “Not only will his background and passion for action sports benefit etnies, but Mike is a great leader, and most importantly a wise leader."

Mike grew up skating and surfing in southern California, which drove him to be a part of the action sports industry. He has been with etnies for more than three years, as director of international sales and has been instrumental in growing its business in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Prior to joining Sole Technology, Mike was in international sales with DC Shoe Company for more than six years. In his new role of brand director, he will be the leader of the etnies brand.

In order to continually strengthen the brand, etnies also recently promoted or hired the following industry experts to new roles in apparel, footwear and marketing: - Todd Casselberry was promoted to director of apparel, merchandising and design - Wallace Mills was promoted to senior product manager for etnies’ core skateboard footwear category. - Nathan Bell was hired as senior graphic designer - Austin Brown was hired as music marketing manager

On top of all this great energy, etnies recently introduced amazing new team riders: Mikey Taylor and Sean Malto! Check out the new etniesskateboarding.com web site for more team updates.

There’s a lot of excitement at etnies, with the addition of Mike Regan and the new brand team members. Expect to see etnies taking skateboarding and action sports to completely new levels of success.
