"Snow is falling, all around us"
Fuck that song, but it's true, Europe is getting dumped on right now. The crew over at Whitelines predicted that the first snow would start falling a few weeks ago, so we thought it would be cool to pick up where they left off and show you how the resorts are actually looking right now. Lucky for you this post isn't about which members of the Onboard crew have taken a dump most recently, it should just set you on in the right direction for some fresh tracks.
If resorts get blessed with a decent base early in the season it can set the tone for the rest of the winter and also help the snow last late into the spring. Resorts that are more established might even open their lifts early but if not you can always use those two sticks you used to call snow legs to hike up and earn those early season pow turns.
From the depths of the internet we've found the European resorts which are looking nice and white so you don't have to. Pretty sweet considering that a week ago most mountains were still looking quite bare. It looks as though that El Nino is coming through after all - who knew webcams were so useful!
