Over thirteen years ago, a young and talented Jamie Lynn joined Dragon as its first sponsored snowboarder. This was the beginning of what soon would become an evolving heritage of iconic individuals.
In 2008, the legacy comes full circle with the reunion and limited release of Dragon’s Jamie Lynn Signature Series ROGUE goggle. Featuring simplicity at it’s finest; the ROGUE offers classic design combined with Dragon’s leading technology and legendary heritage. In 2009 the Jamie Lynn Series Rogue is offering a new exclusive artwork signed by Jamie.
To celebrate, Dragon will be launching the Mystery Tour in Laax, Switzerland, during The Brits on Monday March 30th, with a live performance by Jamie and his band Kandi Coded- featuring Jack Endino, famous producer of Nirvana’s first album, Bleach . Kandi Coded will be joining the Dragon sponsored ‘Dalikfodda Shithouse Tour 2’ that has been rocking it’s way across the alps with Gentlemans Pistols and Jett Black for it’s final date.
Dragon is proud to be associated with Kandi Coded because The Big & Loud Seattle Rock Is Not Dead
Founded by drummer Johnny Graziadei in a typically dark and dreary Seattle basement a few years ago, KANDI CODED released their first album "Sucrose Fixation" on their own label Dirty Sock. This got them a local following and earned them a spot on the 2007 Warped tour, as well as bringing them to the attention of local studio guru / grunge Godfather Jack Endino (producer of Nirvana, Hot Hot Heat, High On Fire, etc).
While working in the studio with Endino on the band's second album, "Time Wasted Is Not Wasted Time", the band’s lead guitarist quit, leaving the remaining members to talk Endino into cutting a guitar solo, then another one, and then another. Soon Jack agreed to play a few shows, and finally ended up joining, "What can I say? I was drafted," says Endino.
KANDI CODED features founder Johnny Graziadei on drums and vocals, longtime snowboard legend and graphic artist Jamie Lynn on guitar and lead vocals, along with Endino himself, who is quite pleased to be playing guitar in a band in which someone ELSE gets called a "legend" all the time.
