Guess what? It’s snowing!!! Yep, the winter is coming so it is time to break out your thermals and woolly hats!
Chillchalets, as ever, have not been resting on their laurels, new stuff happening this winter is the new house in Bourg. If you have never been to Bourg, you really will kick yourself for not coming sooner. The chillchalet house is literally in the centre of town, all newly refurbed, wireless internet, five bedrooms, two living areas, even a garden for those warm spring evenings (or a very chilly barbecue!) Add to that the fact that it is within easy reach of all the major ski areas, as well as being a short walk to the funicular and the whole of the massive Paradiski area. You can see St Foy, La Rosiere, Les Arcs and La Plagne from the garden, talk about views, there can’t be many chalets boasting that view!
The Morzine chalet is still as popular as ever, with January and February nearly sold out. But we all know that March and April are brilliant in the mountains, so check your dates and don’t delay, otherwise you may miss out.
Chillchalet also have new boards for their test centres; they are now working with Signal, a small company from Seattle, WA, USA. A simple idea, brilliantly executed. Have you ever wondered if all the different boards out there are really that different? Well, they asked the question and decided that one, well designed and made, board can do everything, so here it is. Available in a length that will suit you, free to try out in both the chalets. Surf on over to www.signalsnowboards.com for more info and coffee!
Also new for this winter is their late availability deals, book for dates less than two weeks away and pay last years price of £35 per person per night. Every little helps!
