This British Snow Tour news update lets you know that Winter lurks around the corner, and with it a heap of snowy goodness for all at your local SNO!zone indoor slope.

As much a celebration of all things snow as rounds of Snowboard and Freeski Championship competition, the British Snow Tour offers something for everyone; New-comers are offered FREE introductory lessons, enthusiasts an opportunity to test 2009 equipment from K2, Ride, DC and Line, spectators a glimpse of the UK’s finest freestylers, and pro’s and budding am’s alike an opportunity to compete for British titles, fortune and fame.

Welcoming all ages, abilities, styles and outfits, the British Snow Tour isn’t just for the elite, with prizes and medals stretched across five age categories, (kids, youth, junior, senior and masters). And in the interest of satisfying a Nation’s appetite for trivia and interesting facts, the Snow Tour has provided:

• 326 snowboards and skis tested by the good British public • 1153 number of podium finishes for unsponsored athletes • 5421 number of FREE introductory ski and snowboard lessons provided • £104,000 cash prize purse • 558,600 TTR World Ranking points
