‘Brisseburger’ as his friends call him has had quite an inequal season, including some great sessions and a long rest after an injury… We caught up with him to find out how it exactly went for him and what he’s cooking us for the following months. Here is Dan’s Miniview…
First of all, let’s give us a quick overlook on your past season, how did it go for you?
My season was off to a great start actually… X Games Real Snow went awesome, and I was sitting on about 20 urban clips by January 20th. I decided to go to Minnesota for one last urban trip, and on the first feature of that trip, I slipped out and broke my collar bone… So my season went on hold for about 10 weeks. When I finally got cleared to ride again, the snow was pretty crappy and it was hard to really gather more footage for the season.
Can you tell us more about the main project you’ve been working on this season and how do you feel about it?
I worked on CAPiTA’s team movie this year as my main project, and I am really stoked to see the final outcome! Unfortunately I can’t tell you more about it, but you all find out pretty soon!
Are you still riding and filming right now?
I am not filming now, we are done with this, but occasionally riding at Mt. Hood in Orgeon.
What’s the creaziest urban stuff you’ve seen this winter?
The craziest urban stuff I’ve see this winter is the footage in the CAPiTA film… Check it out when it drops!
What are your plans for let’s say the next two months?
Over the next two months I am working on buy a couple multi family investment properties. During my free time as a snowboarder I started a real estate investing business, where I buy multi family properties and hire a property manager to rent them out for me. It’s a fun way to pass time, and it can be quite lucrative if you get good at it. Should be fun!
