Those fiendish engineers over at Apo have come up with their own version of the increasingly more popular ‘easy entry’ binding, dubbed the Expresso Double Entry system. Basically the highback folds down causing the patented Saloon heelcup to open out, thus making getting your boot in and out as easy as possible. Cleverly, as you slide your foot in, hitting the ankle strap causes the highback to come up automatically so you only need to lift up the lever and, presto, go shred. The toe strap can be used over or in front of the foot, and should you find it troublesome to use in deep snow or steeps, fear not; simply use the two straps in the conventional manner and off you go. Yo.
