Day Two is already over and our crew is complete now which means 9 girls and 2 guys sharing one house up on the mountain.

Filmer Freddy is one of the lucky guys…

Sounds interesting, eh? Well, especially as it’s the first Onboard Girls Week ever. Thanks to the guys from Q Parks we have a sick house in Montafon for ourselves. After Leanne Pelosi, Alexis Waite, Lisa Filzmoser, Margot Rozies, Sarka Pancochova and US photographer Christy Chaloux have arrived on Saturday already, Hana Beaman joined us yesterday and Silvia Mittermüller as well as our senior photographer Matt Georges just showed up today, coming straight from Japan. Weeeeeh.

It is raining right now but yesterday was still sunny which made the Pirates cry. Well, they didn’t literally cry but I think they wanted to make us cry as much as they were yelling at us. To make a long story short: We found a spot – next to the lift, no tracks, nobody there, nothing. Just a nice backcountry spot and we built a kicker. All of a sudden one of the Pirates crews was showing up, claiming it was their spot and they had only left it to wait for better light. Well, you didn’t pee your name in the snow, boys. So we hit it and Lisa bagged a nice bs 3.

Today Leanne, Hana, Alexis, Sarka and Christy found a nice wallride in Silvretta Nova, while the others scoped the area around our house a bit and found plenty of options for tomorrow (a rail over a river, some wooden jib stuff and a road gap). To end a rainy day positive (it rained on 1800 metres!), Sarka and Lisa decided to do a drop from the balcony of our house which looks pretty nice. Sarka was pretty lucky: before she dropped she covered a concrete corner with a long iron stick in the landing with some pads. At her first try she completely bumped into it – it would have broken her board and probably also some of her bones if she wouldn’t have put some padding on it!

Sarka before almost stabbing herself with a gnarly iron stick.

Hope it stops raining tomorrow as it makes the landings super sketchy. But as all the girls are super tough it won’t stop them from rocking this place. And make the Pirates cry… Hehe, only kidding…

If I can snake into the neighbor’s wireless network tomorrow again, you will find a new blog. If not, I will try as soon as possible…
