Nitro shoot in the most expensive country on earth.
Norway is a beautiful country known for oil, fjords, funny language and black metal...
So in my last blog I told you I had no idea what the following travel day would be like. It turned out to be the worst travel day of my life! First I had to pay an extra fee for my boardbag, then the first plane was 1,5 hours delayed. So when I landed in Copenhagen I missed the connecting flight to Bergen. After fighting with 100 angry travellers at the transfer desk I finally got a new flight an hour later. Went there to find that plane 2 hours delayed! When I finally got to Bergen I realise that my bags weren't gonna show up. Plus no one was picking me up and I had no idea how to Bergen and after waiting half an hour in the rain I got picked up by Patrik (Swedish nitro distributor a.k.a. Lill-führern). So I started travelling 8 in the morning and got to Folgefonna at 00.30...
Anton Gunnarsson knows how to deal with airlines
For three days I wore the same clothes, without showering, until my bags finally arrived! Way to go SAS!
The riding in Folgefonna was pretty nice. It was raining a lot but we were a great crew of riders, filmers, photographers and company dudes (like lill-führern). We shot some kick ass sunset photos and it was probably the most burnt sky I have ever snowboarded in. The light was totally awesome (snowboard term. I could have used epic as well but that's too much... snowboard language...)
Mike goes both ways
The week went pretty fast and everybody was really productive. Unfortunately Tobbe broke his collarbone on the big kicker. Bad day, bad light, wind,.. why did you hit that one Tobbe?
Now it's Storsjöyran here in Östersund! Big festival with bands like Millen colin, the Hives and Sahara hotnights. time to get a beer!
Not the hives!
music tip: The Hives - Probably one of the best live bands ever!
