My Season Round-Up

BS 7

This season has been a great one and i have many good results. Here is a round up of what I got up to.

In the summer of 2007 I entered a lot of dryslope and indoor competitions, my results as show.

British Snow Tour Events

Chatam Animal Slopstyle Championships: Overall Men 1st
Warmwell Quicksilver Big Air Championships: Overall Men 1st
Castleford Animal Indoor Slopstyle Championships: Overall Men 2nd
Glasgow Quicksilver Indoor Big Air Championships: Overall Men 1st

Westbeach Dryslope Events

Westbeach Dryslope Halifax: Under 16s 1st
Westbeach Dryslope Warmwell: Under 16s 1st

Other Events

Burton AM Tour Castleford: Overall Men 1st
Thirteen (FOTP) Milton Keynes: Overall Men 1st
Burton Scrap Metal: Overall Men 2nd

I then started my season going to Avoriaz to check out The Stash. If anyone who doesn’t know what The Stash is, it is a Park built in the trees and everything is built out of wood. It was fun and was very different.

In the Laax tube.

I then went to Davos and Laax in Switzerland for 23 days where I competed in two of the biggest 6 star TTR events, the O’Neill Evolution and the Burton European Open but for the Burton European Open I injured my foot in the slopstyle so had to pull out but the next day it was halfpipe which also didn’t go well because of the weather, it was snowing really heavy and the pipe was full of snow and it was hard to do anything in it, but I had a great time at the O’Neill Evolution and my results were:-

O’Neill Evolution 2008 Halfpipe: Overall Men 56th
O’Neill Evolution 2008 Quaterpipe: Overall Men 59th

I then went to the British Championships 2008 in Laax Switzerland for a 3 star TTR event. I had such a great 2 weeks and again picked up some really good results.

Slopestyle: Kids 1st
Overall Men 2nd

Big Air: Kids 1st
Overall Men 12th

Halfpipe: Kids 1st
Overall Men 12th

To finish of the season I just got back yesterday from an amazing trip in Austria where I was at the Board Test, it was amazing just to be able to ride around for a change, without having to ride in a competition and I even went shredding with Josh Sherman.

I can’t wait for next season its going to be SICK !

Thanks to all my sponsors helping me out this season:

Bonfire, Salomon, Nike 6.0, Sno!zone, Anon, RED, Skullcandy, The Snowboard Asylum, all my friends from AKA Snowskate and all the photographers that shot with me.
