I set off on the 14th of December to Avoriaz for 3 days with my dad of riding the powder, park and, of course, The Stash which was ace to ride because it was so different to the normal features in a park, everything that was built in The Stash so far was amazing to ride and there were huge rails made out of wood and massive wall rides and the weather was perfect for all those days I was there, you couldn’t have asked for more with the sun, fresh powder, a decent park and the stash it was an ace time and going with one of my best friends called Tom from Castleford and his dad Dave.
As we were flying to Geneva I also saw Tim Warwood from Lockdown films so we sat next to him on the plane. He was going out for the same reason as me, and all the Vans crew were out there too, it was great to see them all. When we got there it was just great, we stayed in Morzine in a hotel in the centre of the city and on the night we got there Tom’s dad showed us around and took us into Bar Robinsons and also took us to the Changabang which he says is world famous and I believe him. On the first lift up the next day it was perfect weather and the snow was amazing and there was hardly anybody there it was so quiet and the lift queue’s weren’t busy at all and it was the same for all 3 days and I had a great time riding with Tom, whilst we was there we rode with one of toms friends out there in avoriaz called Jez and he had friends who were photographers and we did a few things in The Stash with them and got some great shots.
This trip was ace to go on and I thought Morzine and Avoriaz were great and I can’t wait to go again.
