The 2014 Burton Summer Camp went down a couple weeks back in Zermatt/Cervinia and Swedish smooth operator Ludwig Lejkner was on hand to take a top to bottom run through the park.
If the official edit from the Burton Summer Camp is anything to go by, it was one hell of a week up on the Zermatt glacier. Bluebird conditions, soft snow, plenty of Burton riders on hand, and a huge number of features to hit.
Ludde Lejkner was one of the Burton pros cruising the park and put down this rad top to bottom run through it so we can check out all of the features. Ludde’s got a super buttery style (that back tail was something else!) and although he came off early on that back 180 on, every other trick was straight hammer.
It’s always cool to see how different riders tackle park features differently and in Ludde’s case it’s with super sick shifties off the end of rails and extra poked out style, rather than the craziest tech.
Be sure to look out for Ludde in the Taco Trip movie ‘Buffet’ dropping this fall.
About our Top To Bottom series: We think that a lot can be said about a person’s snowboarding if you give them the freedom to interpret the mountain in their own way. This season we’ll be following a bunch of riders for one run of their choice. Be it a rail line, kicker line, or just a side hit run, we think that once in a while it’s important to strip back all of the extra stuff that you see in edits these days and present snowboarding as you or I would see it on the mountain. We’ve opted to ditch music and fancy editing and present one continuous run of raw, honest snowboarding. We hope you dig ‘em.
