Andy Nudds has been blazing a trail on the UK snowboard scene for the best part of a decade now. From qualifying and riding as an Am in the Nike Chosen Sessions, to bossing rail jams across the country, to scoring an ender part in Grindhouse movies, Nuddsy is hands down one of the most consistent and accomplished riders in the UK.
We nabbed him for a couple of runs while we were out at the Spring Break boardtest, and despite some pretty shitty weather, we spotted a window and convinced Nuddsy to chuck a couple of bangers on cold legs.
Luckily, even when he isn’t really warmed up, Nuddsy can still bring the fire when it counts. How sick was that hardway cab 270 to regs on the stairset feature?
About our Top To Bottom series: We think that a lot can be said about a person’s snowboarding if you give them the freedom to interpret the mountain in their own way. This season we’ll be following a bunch of riders for one run of their choice. Be it a rail line, kicker line, or just a side hit run, we think that once in a while it’s important to strip back all of the extra stuff that you see in edits these days and present snowboarding as you or I would see it on the mountain. We’ve opted to ditch music and fancy editing and present one continuous run of raw, honest snowboarding. We hope you dig ‘em.
