Jake Blauvelt’s epic two-year powderfest will be live to stream on Onboard on the 15th October. We caught up with the man himself to get the lowdown on all things Naturally. Check it and get hyped for the full thing dropping Tuesday!
It’s almost here folks. This coming Tuesday we’ll be hosting the online premiere of Jake Blauvelt’s two year epic ‘Naturally’. This movie is the first footage we’ll have seen of Mr Blauvelt since his web series of the same name a couple years back and having been lucky enough to make it to the Munich premiere last week, can safely say that it’s off the chain.
From the RED cameras and helis, to Jake’s cat like approach to dissecting features on the mountain, Naturally will suit powder lovers down to a tee. It may not be back to back bangers like your typical snowboard movie broken up into rider parts, but it’s simply not meant to be.
As Greg Martin, Jake’s manager and one of the producers of the movie, eloquently put it, ‘we hope you guys can appreciate the nuances of turning a snowboard’ – it’s a wish that you’d do well to keep in mind when you watch the movie. Every turn and every slash is shot in a way that you can relate to and the faceshots and compressions on landing are shown to be just as important as the tricks that precede them.
Once the full movie has been online for a scant few days, it will be available for purchase on iTunes and a series of webisodes delving deeper into the filming process will drop over the following weeks.
But for now at least, have a listen to what Jake has to say about the movie and get ready for the full thing dropping on Tueday!
