Absinthe Films drop the official teaser for their latest snowboard masterpiece ‘Dopamine’. Hit that play button pronto.
Absinthe have been at the forefront of snowboard movie production for well over a decade now and have attracted some of the world’s best riders since its inception. And while they certainly took their time releasing the official trailer for this year’s movie, it’s finally here and it doesn’t disappoint:
Dopamine is a naturally occurring chemical in the brain that controls movement and reward. At the core of progressive snowboarding, it is movement and reward that provide a natural motivation for riders like Bode Merrill, Victor De Le Rue and Brandon Cocard to evolve and innovate. These explorers of mountain and mental landscapes led the charge this year, changing the definition of what can be done on a snowboard and changing the guard. From the Yukon, Valhallas, Monashees, Dolomites, and Pyrenees the Absinthe crew proves dopamine is free, but you have to get out there to earn it..!
There’s massive backcountry hits from the likes of Sylvain Bourbousson and Victor de le Rue, insane one-foot stuff from Bode Merrill, and one of the longest handrail boardslides we’ve ever seen from Brandon Cocard.
We were lucky enough to catch the movie when the European premiere tour rolled around to Munich a few weeks ago and we can safely say that Dopamine gets those nerve endings firing on all cylinders.
