Check out this flurry of bangers from the likes of Mario Käppeli, Kareem el Rafie, Marko Grilc, Tim-Kevin Ravnjak and many more from a post Pleasure Jam session up at Dachstein. How sick does that park look?
Check the skinny from the good folk at QParks:
With the dust having settled on Superpark Dachstein after the O’Neill Pleasure Jam, it was time to get a roster of local and international sideways standers in to put the last seal of approval on the park before it begins its move south to Superpark Planai for the season. Enjoy the highlights from the session above the clouds at Superpark Dachstein.
A layer of clouds lined the valleys as the riders exited the gondola, providing the perfect backdrop to what would be an epic session. With local shredders like Manuel and Alois Lindmoser facing up against some of Europe’s finest shredders, it was the beginning of an onslaught of kicker and rail mastery. Alois let loose from the first hit in a frenzy of corked 360’s, 720’s and tweaked flat spins. The other riders weren’t going to let him take the spotlight so easily though with Marco Grilc and Tim-Kevin Ravnjak showing what the Slovenian crew could throw down.
Not one to lets the boys do all the talking; Panka Gyarmati represented the girls as only she could, with her backside 360’s sent deep down the landings and some skills on the rails than taught the boys the definition of style. Even the shapers were getting in on the action with Andi Röck tweaking out some nosegrab combos proving that he really is a master of the park.
The boys from Blue Tomato were killing it on the jib line with the trio of Kalle Ohlson, Kareem el Rafie and Mario Käppeli lapping the jibs until the sun began to set.
Of course riders like Herby Thaler, Mitja Kodric, Viktor Szigeti, Seppi Scholler, Patrick Pitter and Florian Galler were sending it to the moon as well, but you’ll have to check the edit to see what these hardy shred dogs got up to on what really was a day to be remembered at Superpark Dachstein.
THE CLOCK IS TICKING…
With the park undertaking it’s yearly migration down the mountain to Planai, there’s only a few weeks left to check out the picturesque park before it moves south on the 1st of December.
