Fur Rondy in Alaska have clearly been getting experimental with their drop in at the annual Big Air Demo, which is great! It’s just a shame that what they’ve come up with is a little bit shit…

Admittedly, we were a bit confused at first when we saw this vid, but thankfully ‘Alaska Dispatch’ were on hand to fill us in on what the hell was going on with this sketchy-ass drop in:

“Unfortunately, the angle of the drop that starts the run has been so steep in recent years that many jumpers don’t even make it past the bottom of the drop, let alone to the point that they could actually attain the “big air” touted in the event’s name.”

Still, if you could actually ride that, you’d definitely have a right to claim – this looks almost as sketchy as AK Extreme:
