Jonas Boesiger 2013/2014 Season Edit

Check out Jonas Boesiger’s 2013/2014 season edit for some amazing snowboarding from one of the most promising up and coming Swiss rippers.

At just 19 years old, Swiss ripper Jonas Boesiger has already achieved some incredibly impressive results in his snowboard career. After bossing the World Rookie Tour finals in 2013, 2014 has been a season of almost non-stop competing for Jonas, and his results are not to be sniffed at. 2nd in the Swiss Freestyle Champs for slopestyle (and 4th in halfpipe), 12th at the 6 star Spring Battle event in Flachauwinkl and 6th at the Burton European Open.

With all of that competing it’s amazing that Jonas had time to shoot anything at all this season and his season edit is testament to how much this kid loves snowboarding. Featuring a slew of technical spins and double corks in multiple directions on park jumps, as well as some powder kicker hits, this is a really good showcase of the depth and breadth of Jonas skills on a snowboard.

Don’t miss the cab 180 butter to backside double cork at 2.38, a trick that we’ve only ever seen attempted and landed once before (Brandon Davis from around 3 months ago).

We recently interviewed Jonas for our ‘Blowing Up’ feature in issue 139 of Onboard, which you can check out here.
