I reckon most of you guys got just as sad as we did after watching the last episode of Get Outta Town and realizing there is gonna be no more of this amazing series. But! As usual after crew edits there are full parts coming and the first one is all about Eero Niemela!
You can see by the name that Eero Niemela is Finnish but since earning TransWorld’s Rookie Of The Year award back in 2005 this chap has been shredding Whistler backcountry every winter. Eero has been also living in California for some time now enjoying the surf in the summer and it seems this kind of life suits Eero just fine making him one of the steeziest riders out there.
Eero has become one of snowboarding’s most consistent and versatile backcountry shreds. From the blind drops to the car-sized pillows to the massive natural step-downs the region is famous for, Eero always holds his own. And this full part is just a proof of Eero’s ultra-smooth, anything-goes approach to shredding pow. As Eero continues to push his riding on his own terms among the rad Get Outta Town crew including Devun Walsh, Ryan Tiene, Dustin Craven, Benji Ritchie, and Iikka Backstrom, the confidence and style apparent in his riding is just getting ridiculous and is screaming at us from this edit. Watch it and get excited for more Get Outta Town full parts!
