This past weekend, a bunch of the world’s finest slopestyle and big air riders assembled in Beijing’s iconic Birdnest stadium for an evening of world-class, World Snowboard Tour 6 star, snowboard meat hucking. There were slams, triple cork attempts and of course some eye-popping tricks stomped.

The rider list was as stacked as ever with the likes of Peetu Piiroinen, Halldor Helgason, Sage Kotsenburg, Ulrik Badertscher, Eric Willet and Yuki Kadono all vying for a slice of the 100,000 dollar prize purse.

Mr. Hansen landed a switch backside 1260 to take bronze (who remembers the days when that trick was an almost guaranteed first place? It wasn’t all that long ago!).
