Ludvig Billtoft from Sweden and Klaudia Medlova from Slovakia took the honours for men and women at the 2star Summer Rookie Fest 2011 in Val Senales, Italy, the first event of the World Rookie Tour 2011-12.
Summer's not all about shredding glaciers or getting tan on the beach - in the UK the dryslope season is in full swing and the Salomon boys fired over this killer edit of what went down at the Go Big or Go Home contest at Bearsden.
Every year at the end of the season, the Czech guys build a beast of a park, throw a bunch of Jäger-fuelled parties and invite riders from across the world to be part of the good times. As ever, the riders slayed it on the killer kickers and monster hip and were shadowed by dudes filming in helicopters. Watch what went down.
Antti Autti's been a busy man on the video front lately, and following on from his highlights of his Antti's World Cup he's just dropped the edit from the 'best event in Finland and probably in the world!' - Wappulounas.

The Vans Dawn of the Shred once again showed that it is possible to hold a legit on-snow gathering in the UK, with a solid-sized wedge, assorted jibs and the finest riders from Her Majesty's island throwing down. Check it out - Scotland represent!
Although the event happened nearly a month ago in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where Jamie Nicholls took his first major career win, the highlights edit has just dropped, so refresh your memory of what happened with these video bang bangs...
[UPDATE - Halldor didn't win. Apologies. We blame our non-existant knowledge of the Icelandic language. Gulli Gudmundsson won. Props!] Iceland's historic AK Extreme was reborn in Akureyri last weekend with Halldor Helgason, Gulli Gudmundsson and the rest of the Icelandic shred scene...
Another fine moving picture on the 8th Edition of the Intercrew in Chamrousse
Mathieu Crepel took the honors at the Poney Session - France's only 4Star TTR gig - the other weekend, and now you can not only feast your eyeballs on his solid riding, there's all the action from the whole event to keep you entertained for 8-odd minutes.
