It’s airtime again! At Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn’s Glacier Park, the freestyle fun on kickers, rails and boxes already kicks off in autumn. From December, Austria’s biggest super-pipe as well as Central Park and Easy Park with its new, more playful set-up will provide for even more pleasure in the snow. Adding up to the action is the cooperation with Nitro Snowboards and Volcom Snowboarding, bringing lots of thrilling sessions and events to Kitzsteinhorn.
Already in autumn, beginners, intermediates and pros shred the Glacier Park at 2,900 metres up on the glacier. Whereas in the winter, Central Park, Easy Park and the massive super-pipe (160 m long, 6.60 m high) form the centre of freestyle action at Kitzsteinhorn. At Easy Park, creative new elements will provide even more fun this winter and make the beginner’s park a big playground for snowboarders. The highlight feature of Central Park will be the big Pro Kicker, which will presumably be opened in late January. Railgarden Lechnerberg in the centre of Kaprun provides additional freestyle fun – the ideal location for relaxing sundown sessions. For the current set-up of the parks, check out www.snowpark.kitzsteinhorn.at.
