The fifth edition of Frontline Railjam went down in Stockholm last weekend. Organizer and FL Clothing owner Kareem El Rafie had invited and gatherd some of the best rail riders across Europe.
Location was as usual at the infamous Sergelstorg square downtown Stockholm.
Thousands had gatherd around to watch the riders session the rail set, have fun and battle each other for the price money of 5.000 euros.
As the riders put it, the insane level of riding was no surprise due to the ”perfect setup”. It’s so interesting to see how rail riding keeps progressing every year and what used to seem impossible suddenly becomes natural and the level is pushed even further.
The 24 invited riders were split over two 40 minutes qualification heats, of which only 5 riders from each heat progressed to the finals. In the finals Kareem standing right in the landing, pockets full of cash, to instantly reward the riders with 50 or 100 euro notes for each dope trick they stomped.
The rider who stood out the most and was finally rewarded with an additionl 1.000 euros as best rider was Halldor Helgason. The whole day he had pulled tricks like fakie hardways bs 180 to swith 5050 cab 360 out or nollie hardwasy bs 270 to bs slide 270 on the down rail and sw fs blunt 270 out or fk bs tailslide 270 out on the double kink.
Halldors bigger brother Eiki Helgason won the best trick on the downrail claiming an additional 500 euros with an insane cab 360 to switch nosepress 180 out. He allso threw som other stuff on the kink as bs 180 to sw 5050 sw bs 180 out and fs 180 to sw nosepress 180 out.

And as the railjam had came to its end the snowboard fest continued as it always should with and massive afterparty at one of Stockholms biggest nightclubs with over 1.000 people partying and seending the night away..
