The big finals of this year’s World Rookie Fest will commence this week starting on the 16th. After successful stops in the Czech Republic, Italy and some other 1 and 2 star TTR events it is time to crown a champion of this events series. The event in Ischgl will be presented to you by the ‘New Austrian Snowboard Association’ (n.ASA in short), who have arranged for the park to be changed up a little for the contestants. We are sure that there will be some interesting obstacles constructed which will surprise the riders and get their stoke on.
This season the overall level of riding at the various WRF events has been very high, and will most probably be stepped up a notch for the finals, especially if one considers what prizes await the winners. Amongst various hard and software goodies to be one awaits a starting slot for the Air and Style Rookie challenge next year in Munich, marking a very coveted prize for any rider who wants to make a name for himself in the snowboard bizz. Everyone knows that the Air and Style is one of the most covered and media intensive events that goes down in Europe, where one has a chance to meet the right people and hopefully ascend into the world of a pro. That’s not all though! There are two more prizes to be won, which are just as amazing! First: there is also a trip to be won to Canada with the Pirate’s, where some video footy could be bagged of you. Second: For the best unsponsored rider awaits a sponsorship deal with Völkl and Protest! Sounds pretty amazing to us!
