Grandvalira-El Tarter Snowpark will be home once again to the most hoped-for snowboard international festival on March 26 – 29

Andorra, March 12, 2009.- Grandvalira is ready again to host one of the most hoped-for international snowboard events: the Grandvalira Total Fight Masters of Freestyle. The freestyle, music and photo festival, along with other shows, is about to start its fifth edition.

From March 26 to March 29, Grandvalira will flock some of the best global riders for this slope style race included in the TTR contest circuit. Over 120 riders from several countries will compete at the El Tarter Snowpark, the freestyle hub in southern Europe. They will all strive for the podium and the precious TTR points, besides more than €25.000 in prizes. Some of the international riders such as Iker Fernandez, Marko Grilk and Sani Alibabic from the Burton team; the Argentinean Facu Vial, Rudi Kroell and Michi Stanschitz; the Finn Jaakko Ruha, Sami Saarenpää and Ville Uotila; or the French Victor De le Rue and Julien Haricot have already confirmed attendance.

Following last edition’s success, the Grandvalira Total Fight is here again with a bunch of new features and the best international freestyle show. Like in each edition, the public will not only enjoy an event in the snow, but also have fun with the afternoon and night activities that complete an incredible festival at El Tarter Snowpark. Grandvalira Total Fight is considered one of the most remarkable freestyle races up to now in the Pyrenees, and one of the best throughout Europe. Four intense days where freestyle junkies will live an unmatched festival night and day, a guaranteed show in the snow.
Also featuring is the Grandvalira Total Fight a FotoFestival and VideoFestival. This festival gathers artists and photographers to showcase their best works, video productions and photos of the season. The Festival will also host the Music Festival, featuring select DJ’s and some of today’s artists (to be confirmed at a later stage) as well as many other activities that make this event a must.
Grandvalira will offer lodging and pass packages for those willing to enjoy this unique show of music, videos and tricks in the snow.
