Last weekend the biggest Big Air event in Russia went down in the “Metallurg-Magnitogorsk” ski resort (Bannoe Lake) and Swedish ripper Chris Sörman bagged the title.

24 riders from around the globe headed to the eastern mountains to compete in the 4 star TTR event, but it was Sörman and his run including a frontside board slide to fakie, switch backside 900 indy and backside 900 indy who took the lead in front of local Russian rider Alexey Sobole and fellow Swede Zebastian Landmark.

The FMX and Freeski Show also gave spectators a good reason to pilgrim to Metallurg-Magnitogorsk and besides a great event they were awarded with a massive fireworks as well.

The BGV Fest hasn’t brought any major changes in the TTR Tour Ranking, but with a bunch of more events coming up after the Olympics that start tomorrow we’re pretty sure we’re still in for some surprises…
So make sure to keep checking back to keep yourself updated!
