Maria-France Roy was undoubtedly one of the most influential female riders of the past decade, by killing it in the backcountry and in the streets. Taking that fame and using it for a good cause is just another reason she proves herself to be a rad person. The Little Things is a movie project based on environmentally conscious riders who are not only known for their sick riding but also for standing up for sustainable ways of living.
Together with filmmaker Darcy Turenne, they are following Meghan O’Brien, Jeremy Jones, Tamo Campos, Jonaven Moore, Nicolas Müller and Gretchen Bleiler to bring snowboarding one step ahead while inspiring positive change that will secure the same lifestyle and quality of life that we have for future generations.
Now it’s your turn to take part in the project by getting photos up on Instagram, that represent why nature is important to you. Just upload a photo and tag it with #thelittlethingsmovie. Full details will be posted on Instagram, the contest winner will be featured both on The Little Things Movie Facebook Page and on Instagram Monday, February 3rd, 2014. Also look out for the release of the full movie coming fall 2014!
