Competition heats up in the Race to Crown the 06/07 TTR Women’s World Champion: Torah Bright Leads by a Mere Nine Points
What: The Third Annual Roxy Chicken Jam got underway today at Park City Mountain Resort with the open entry qualifying rounds for both slopestyle and superpipe divisions. Forty-seven local and amateur snowboarders competed for a chance to mix it up with an extraordinary field of professional women snowboarders from around the world and compete for a combined prize purse worth $30,000.
Not only will the Roxy Chicken Jam crown slopestyle and superpipe champions but it is the crowning event for the 2006/2007 Women’s Ticket to Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour Champion. If Torah wins the Roxy Chicken Jam superpipe event, she will extend her ranking as current TTR World number one over closest rival, Jaime Anderson by approximately 94 TTR Ranking Points.
