DC proudly presents Rail Not Jail in Kumla on 30th April 2007.

Rail not Jail

For the second year in a row it’s time for some of Scandinavias finest snowboarders to takeover the town of Kumla on the last day of April.
This time some riders from Germany and Spain are also invited.

The site is just as last year the beautiful park of Kumlasjön which is located in the centre of the town, just a five minutes walk from the train and bus station and the hotel. The park has a ”natural slope” which will be built to a contest arena with rails, picnic tables, bonks and a drop from a skylift!

Just as last year it’s Sweden’s finest event organizer The Fabulous Flying Circus in collaboration with Kumla Municipality and Kumla Youth Clubs that is organizing the event with the help of sponsors and volunteers.

This year Rail Not Jail is a part of The Fabulous Flying Circus Tour.
The Fabulous Flying Circus was held in Bjursås, Sweden on the weekend of the 23r-24th of February and many of Swedens top riders participated. All the 7 riders that got to the superfinal at TFFC are invited to ride Rail Not Jail.

The prize money is 10.000sek perhaps even more…

Some of the invited riders that are coming to Rail Not Jail are:

Sweden: Ronnie Säfström,
Max Månsson,
Ludde Lejkner,
Jens Alderman,
Tobbe Ohlsson,
Mattias Marklund,
Jonas Carlsson,
Martin Hjalmarsson,
”Ubbe” Lillbacka,
PJ Gustafsson,
Tomas Carlberg

Norway Kim Viken & Jon Björkum

IcelandEiki Helgason, Viktor Hjartarson, Gulli Gudmundson

More riders will be added to this list.

Tons of more snow than last year have been saved to make the contest area much better and funnier this year. New for this year is that the riders will drop in from a 4 meters high start tower of steel construction to guarantee that they get as much speed as they want. There will also be a bombdrop contest from a skylift. Who will drop from the highest point?

Some sponsors will also be represented at RNJ and show some of their products and stuff for the 2008 season and during the day there will be different bands performing live.

On the evening The Fabulous Flying Circus will throw a huge party at Club Zäta for everyone over 18years old. As usual when TFFC & friends are partying it will be totally awesome! Swedens reggae kings Governor Andy & Ras-I-Door will set the dancfloor on fire and Kumlas best bartenders Patrik & Anthony will mix nice and strong drinks in the bar.

Hope to see you all in Kumla on April the 30th!
