The world elite of freestyle will challenge the monster jump at the Olympic Arena Stockholm Stadion in Sweden from 10-11th November. Live acts, a rail arena, film premieres, a winter sport fair, after parties and a lot more - all of it for free. 25,000 tickets will be distributed for each day of this two-day-event.

Jaakko brings a new dynamic to the mix over here at Option with experience beyond his years and style that’s a force to be reckoned with. Jaakko spent this past season riding for Burton and filming for Whiteout films’ latest production “Wear it Well.” With last season being Jaakko’s first winter spent in the Whistler backcountry we can only imagine what he has in store for us this season.
Good news for young boarders: the European Rookie Tour by Burton, the BURTON AM TOUR, is going into it's second Winter season in Wildhaus. After a successful premiere in the last season, the funpark Wildhaus offers again the perfect terrain for about 60 committed Swiss rookies, who want to show their amazing tricks.
The first 6(six) Star event of the 2006/2007 TTR World Snowboard Tour kicks off next month in Munch at the Olympic Stadium. The event, The Nokia Air and Style will take place on Saturday 2nd December, 2007, is the worlds biggest annual urban stadium event.
After the alpine snowboarders opened the 2006/2007 season of the NOKIA Snowboard FIS World Cup with the first Parallel competitions, the freestylers are kicking off their World Cup winter in less than two weeks. In November, three contests will be organized. At first, the kings of the air are soaring through the night and showing their incredible tricks at the Big Air in Stockholm on November 11th, 2006.
Shaun White has taken the last spot of the starting list at the Nokia Air & Style 06 on December 2nd 2006, at the Olympic Stadium in Munich. He will fly in from the US for this event, his only contest in Europe this season, to complete a starting grid that is loaded with winners of Olympic Games, World Championships, Nokia Air & Style, TTR Championships, X-Games, European and U.S. Open. A starting field, one would hardly find at Olympic Games or World Championships.
The 6th edition of the world’s biggest rookie snowboard tour has been announced for 2007. A series of rookie contests touring Austria, Germany and Switzerland. From 13th January in Lech am Arlberg (AUT) glory hungry snowboarders will have the opportunity to compete in one of 10 qualifying events before finalists battle it out in Saas Fee in March at the SnowPark Tour Final.
