OWNR Launches Crowdfunding Pitch

Tom Copsey Tom Copsey

OWNR is a new app for snowboarders, skateboarders and more! It helps you to find spots, put yourself in the spotlight, and earn something everyday! To be able to create this app, the OWNR team is holding a crowdfuding pitch, and you can help out making this app a reality.

OWNR is an application for snowboarders, skateboarders, BMXers and all other kinds of action sports enthusiasts. It helps you to find spots, link your trick videos to them and then battle with each other.. who did the best trick and OWNS the spot?

If you’re a rider that wants to get noticed, OWNR is the app for you! When you start OWNNING spots, a ranking starts to form. Who OWNS the most spots in your area? Who is the sickest rider in town? Make sure you are the top OWNR in your area! Start owning a lot of spots!

And what do you think happens when you challenge your favorite Pro-rider with a better trick? What if you beat him?

The creation of OWNR started about a year ago, as an initiative from Dutch Snowboarder Michiel Roukens. Now his crew is raising funds to hire a team of programmers, to be able to finish this sick app and bring it to you! ‘OWNR is your tool for getting noticed out there,’ says Michiel. ‘It’s really underdogs rule! Now to make this happen, we need your support!’

Do you want OWNR to get there? Do you want to start OWNING spots?

You can help out by donating to the OWNR Crowdfunding pitch, and get some cool stuff in return for your donation! How about a sweet iPhone Case, a fresh Skateboard, or naming your own spot in OWNR?

In the meantime, OWNR has been gaining great support from industry leading brands, who are excited about making OWNR a reality. ‘This is such a sick idea!” Nitro’s Andi Aurhammer exclaimed. ‘Huge potential! Nitro is all in for making OWNR happen’

So do you want to start OWNING Spots? Battle for the best trick? Make sure to watch the video, donate at Indiegogo.com/OWNR, spread the word, and help these guys make it happen! Now let’s OWN them spots!
