Some mountain towns just have it good. A perfect example of this would be the situation that shredders have in Innsbruck, Austria. There you are, living in a valley with epic mountains all around you. You have about a thousand tiny little local resorts that can be reached by car in about half and hour or so. If you don’t own a car, or have the available funds don’t worry! There’s always the Nitro Skyline Park situated in the northern mountain range of Innsbruck (Nordkette) waiting for you! It can easily be reached within 20 minutes using the new ‘Hungerburg Bahn’. Ok, enough info about how cool Innsbruck is!
Innsbruck’s Nordpark is hosting the fourth edition of the ‘Skyline Session’ taking place on the 29th of March. All park shredders are invited for a day of spring shredding in a relaxed jam session format. There is no registration fee! All you have to do is buy a day-pass (season passes are accepted aswell) and sign up at the registration desk up at the park. A BBQ session will be going on simulatneously on the outskirts of the park, where all the hungry can congregate and get their munch on. The training session starts at 10 am and will be going on for an hour or so. Afterwards, one will be able to sign up for the session, followed by a riders meeting discussing the framework of the sesh. After that it’s balls out shredding for all! The winner of the session will recieve a wildcard for next years ‘Snickers Expression Session’ with it’s ‘Check the Ripper’ comp also hosted by the Nordpark.WARNING!
If you are underaged (younger than 18), you must have signed permission from either your parents or your legal guardian to be able to compete. You can find permission forms at X-Double, at the Hungerburg lift and on the Skyline Park website.
See you there!
