In a quest to find the UK’s most esteemed Twitter contributor, snowsports and music festival London FREEZE has launched a revolutionary new means of acknowledging the significance of social networking via londonfreeze.com
As the Twitter phenomenon continues to gather momentum and social media is increasingly being run via mobile technology, the social advantages of the online community are now widely championed. FREEZE Connect’s ‘Twitterati’ competition invites the public to uncover the UK’s most influential Twitter personalities in the lead up to FREEZE. The most popular tweeters will be granted unprecedented access to the music and snowsports event to update the public on what happens from 30th October to 1st November at Battersea Power Station.
FREEZE Connect is the central hub for all activities around FSO4 FREEZE sponsored by LG. It has already built an astonishingly active online community around the event with music and snowsports fans receiving exclusive news and enjoying the event experience weeks before the gates open. Having shortlisted three Twitterati finalists to attend the event, the public’s most popular tweeter will be heading to the mountains with a friend – the winner’s prize is a five day trip for two to an LG FIS Snowboard World Cup event in January 2010.
