The 15th Burton European Open (BEO) Snowboarding Championships presented by MINI are only 12 weeks away and for the 10th consecutive year, will be held in LAAX, Switzerland from January 13th – 19th, 2014. Riders from around the world are invited to register online for Europe’s only true open 6Star TTR event for the chance to win one of the most prestigious snowboarding titles and grab a share of the US$ 125.000 prize-money.
Amateurs, up-and-coming riders as well as Olympians will all gather in LAAX to battle it out in halfpipe and slopestyle competition. To register for halfpipe and slopestyle qualifier events, riders can go to http://ttr.memberpro.net/. The registration period starts on October 25th and ends on November 28th, 2013 at 6 pm CET. In total, there are 100 spots for men and 50 spots for women available per discipline. New this year, Juniors up to 14 years old will now compete with the men and women, plus be listed on the same result list and earn valuable 6Star TTR points. The two best boys and the best girl from the Junior heats in both slopestyle and halfpipe will also earn a spot in the BEO semi-finals where they will be able to showcase their skills next to the world’s best riders.
