Dye releases the ‘CLK ™’ goggle for fall 2012

Dye, a new entry into the world of snowboard eyewear, just dropped over some info on a new easy lens change system they’ve developed, and it looks pretty interesting. Check it…

Dye has designed a new innovative lens attachment system integrated into their new large fit frame, appropriately named the CLK ™, aka the Click (patents pending). It’s no doubt that over the last few seasons’ frameless design, oversize fit, and fast lens changing stories have taken the goggle world by storm. The Dye CLK ™ is a premier goggle, offering a large fit with an expanded field of view, combined with one of the fastest and simple lens changing systems ever. The lens literally clicks in and out with the push of a button.

The technology was debuted at SIA in January, shown as a sneak peak of what is to come from Dye. After additional testing from select team riders, minor adjustments were made to ensure the CLK system was ready for retail this fall.

“I like being able to give input and feedback and have it reflected in the product.” – Bjorn Leines.

The CLK will be available this fall in four colors and two different price points. All models include additional lenses, so riders can utilize the click feature and rapidly change lenses on hill, the lift, or in the backcountry. Base models come with two lenses and a hard case. Upgraded models come with one polarized lens and two additional lenses.
