It’s a sad, but inevitable, fact that every year there are more shots than there are pages to print them on. Traditionally in the world of snowboard mag publishing this would leave our senior photographers as bitter, hollow husks of men, frustrated that despite all the hard work and effort they’d invested in bagging a banger they’d never see it bask in the warm light of day. It’s enough to make a photo editor lose his hair.
However, with the glorious wonders of the interpipe we can now bring you a selection of sickness that for reasons of space or relavence never made it into the print mag this winter. Happily these shots never have to fear the horrors of bad registration or a printer’s overzealous use of magenta, though admittedly you can’t stick these to your bedroom wall or drool at them on the bog. Well, no one said you could have your cake and eat it. Yet…
So, without further ado, here is the first in our summer series of seniors’ galleries comprising shots that were left on the cutting room floor.
