What great news: after a terrific comeback in 2008 and a excellent continuation of the Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol at the beginning of 2009, the spectacle happens again already at the end of this year in the Bergisel Stadium.

The event takes place earlier than expected: on December, 5th 2009 the best snowboarders the world come together to fight for the ring of glory.

Highlights of last season’s Air&Style quarter contest, which saw rookie Colin Frei walk away wit the victory.

Although the Billabong Air & Style in Innsbruck was known for its monstrous quarterpipe it’s coming back to it’s traditional format of straight air this year. So expect exciting tricks in front of a breathtaking backdrop!

Besides the pros also the youngsters get a chance to show their talent and 12 young riders will compete against each other in the Rookie Challenge.

And as the Air & Style tradition promises, there’ll also be some great live acts to entertain you with their tunes. This year it will be The Hives, who are destined to rock the house as they already gathered some experience at the Air & Style in Munich in 2007.

Ticket alarm!

The pre-sale started on July 4th so better go to air-style.com and get yours quickly as they’ll be in great demand.
With 37€ (plus presale fee) the prices are slightly higher, as the straight jump set up is slightly more costly.

And here’s our strangely sound-free video highlights of the last Air&Style kicker contest in Munich 2007.
